Contributed to the SAS Viya 4 migration project for Yves Rocher, a large cosmetic retailer, transitioning legacy analytical assets to a modernized architecture. Was involved in converting 5 Enterprise Guide projects and SAS codes into SAS Studio formats while migrating specific Enterprise Miner models to Viya Model Studio, with a technical focus on optimizing data pipelines feeding Machine Learning and AI models. Also supported the transformation of 72 Visual Data Builder flows into SAS Studio Flows and the migration of 116 Visual Analytics reports to the Viya 4 platform, and contributed to part of the 10 days of on-the-job training sessions.

Türk Telekom Group Technology Department

Supported the SAS Viya 3.5 to Viya 4 transformation project for Türk Telekom, one of the largest telecommunications providers in Türkiye. Working within the Data Management team, I adapted analytical workflows to a modern Kubernetes-based microservices architecture, personally managing the end-to-end migration of analytical models and reports for the Corporate and Fixed business units while contributing significantly to the Mobile and Digital units. I developed a custom Python program utilizing Regex-based scripts to analyze over 70,000 tables on Oracle and Hadoop to identify activity and cross-model dependencies, and designed advanced partitioning strategies for Hadoop and Oracle tables to ensure high-performance data processing.

HepsiPay Vertica Upgrade

Involved in the migration of database connections for open-source managed analytics processes to Vertica and the upgrade of the existing open-source Apache Spark Jupyter Notebook and Airflow environments to a more stable and up-to-date version. Contributed to the revision, development, and testing of DAGs and their Python codes to help ensure compatibility with the upgraded environment.

Modernization and migration from SAS 9.4 to SAS Viya for Enerjisa, a large Turkish utilities organization. I actively participated in the processes of ETL, data quality, data governance, and workflow performance optimization for a flow containing more than 100+ analytics, business intelligence rules, and business logic. I facilitated seamless and high-performance data exchange across Oracle Vertica, SAP S/4HANA, and AWS by performing detailed analyses, developing and optimizing solutions, scheduling workflows via Apache Airflow, and conducting comprehensive testing to ensure reliability.

Versus Stock: A Decision Support System for Investing in the Stock Market

Graduation Project. Versus Stock allows users to compare financial ratios, return rates, and evaluate stock investments against other securities, with a focus on dividend-paying companies. I used yfinance, a Python library which connects to Yahoo Finance, to fetch real-time stock data and the BeautifulSoup library for web scraping real-time data from another brokerage. For the backend, we used FastAPI to format and serve the data, while the frontend was built with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to display the information in an intuitive and responsive way.
